With Tekken 8 hot on the horizon, Bandai Namco have gotten creative, throwing together a live-action trailer mixed with some gameplay. It’s pretty wholesome too, celebrating how the long-standing series has brought all sorts of people together, celebrating ten-ton dropkicks and wacky hairdos alike. No sign of a living jaguar or blade-wielding robotic human though, not that we’d be disappointed by that.
If you want to get your excitement cells running into overdrive ahead of Tekken 8’s imminent release, you can feast your eyes on the trailer just below. Did I mention it features a couple of high profile Tekken pros too?
Tekken 8 will launch on 26th January 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. There’s a free demo available on all of these platforms right now, should you want to try out your combo juggling and super moves ahead of time. Given the ridiculous skills of seasoned Tekken players, that extra practice will likely be well worth it.
