More Crash, more Bandicoot? Crash Team Rumble Spins on consoles June 20th with a Closed Beta in sight!

Big news here, from the Bandicoot himself!

Crash Bandicoot and co. will be spinning onto Consoles June 20th. If you have not heard Crash Bandicoot and team are back in all new 4v4 team based multiplayer unlike fans have seen before! CTR will have a whole new meaning come June for Crash Team Rumble.

Developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision, fans can pre-order Crash Team Rumble and receive access to an exclusive Closed Beta scheduled to take place between April 20th – 24th 2023. This will allow fans to play the game ahead of launch and provides Toys for Bob the opportunity to create the best game experience for launch.

In the Closed Beta, fans will be able to check out Crash, Coco, Tawna, Neo Cortex and Dingodile to check out pairing with your favourite hero or villain. Each character has unique powers, special moves and abilities to utilise. Squads can select from three wacky maps which vary in size, layout and challenges. Relic Stations bring an additional element to the game, unlocking unique powers to teams giving them the upper hand against their opposition.

In this Crash universe, players will fall into one of three roles – a Blocker, Booster or Scorer. Teams will need to utilise their different roles whilst working together to be the first to bank as much Wumpa fruit in their drop off zone, whilst simultaneously defending their opponents drop zone. And good news, Crash Team Rumble will feature cross-platform play.

Crash Team Rumble will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S|X and Xbox One. The standard edition features the full game and seasonal content and limited time modes, as well as access to the closed beta (for those who pre-order) and a Season 1 Premium Battle Pass. If your appetite for Wumpa Fruit is that little bit more hungry, the Deluxe edition features all the content from the standard edition, but includes 25 battle pass tiers instantly unlocked during Season 1. It also includes the Season 2 Battle Pass as well as a digital ‘Proto Pack’ which includes customisation options for each hero and villain at launch.
