Not Tonight 2 wants to put the American dream out of its misery.
No More Robots have revealed Not Tonight 2, a sequel to Panic Barn’s gloriously political Brexit simulator due on Steam later this year.
In Not Tonight 2 the focus is shifted to America, which seems like the natural next step for this series, taking their particular brand of dark humour to an alternative, defective United States, ‘where capitalism and political greed have taken over’, with democracy a long forgotten memory.
Written and developed by a team of POC writers and artists, this lens on the United States will no doubt skewer the inner fears of a possibly future, the same way Not Tonight did for the UK. We still have nightmares about how horrendously accurate aspects of Not Tonight came to be.
In Not Tonight 2 you’ll once again be a bouncer, confirming your guests follow the ‘correct’ religion, join a cult, tap along rhythm games, pump chickens with steroids and even work on the wall around Texas. You’ll play as Kevin, Mari and Malik, as they race across the USA to save a friend from deportation.
