A Future Games Show highlight, The Entropy Centre is looking like an absolute blast, and not just because the Earth is on fire.

One of our major highlights of the Future Games Show was The Entropy Centre published by PlayStack and developed by shiny new British indie studio Stubby Games.

The Entropy Centre has a very cool puzzle mechanic by turning back time to overcome impossible obstacles with a Portal-type gun to clear puzzles and stop the overheating of planet earth. Ya gotta love video games.

Have a nose at the fantastic debut trailer below;

The gun in question is called ASTRA a gun with a built in AI companion able to move objects back in time such as restoring bridges, destroyed pathways and overcome puzzles to progress to the centre of The Entropy Centre in order to save the space station and getting back to earth. Yeah, Earth is on fire and the space station your character Aria awakes on is falling apart. So, sounds like everything will be fine, right? It’s up to you to work with ASTRA to save everyone and everything.

Daniel Stubbington, founder of Stubby Games;

“The Entropy Centre isn’t pulling any punches. This is the game that I’ve wanted to craft for a long time and I can’t wait to see players delve into this crazy time-manipulating world that I’ve created.”

Harvey Elliott, chief executive at Playstack;

“The Entropy Centre is a brilliant example of what we are looking for – it’s an extraordinarily smart, satisfying, and witty puzzle game that is resonating with fans. We are feeling great about its response so far and have big plans for the coming months to maximize its success.”

The Entropy Centre will be coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One later this year.
