New Trailer For Ghostwire: Tokyo Drops From Sony’s State of Play
Bethesda and Tango Gameworks yesterday showed off more of their exciting supernatural title Ghostwire Tokyo, as part of Sony’s State of Play March 2022 showcase. The trailer gives us a modicum of insight into the unnerving Visitors (that smile though, you’ll know the one), the motivations of our would-be hero Akira, as well as a further look at the bombastic first-person combat on offer.
It’s an enticing showpiece, which builds nicely upon the 10 minute deep-dive we received recently. Don’t just take my word for it though, check out the new two minutes of footage for yourself:
With a vibrant yet haunting Tokyo city to explore and a handful of Ethreal Weaving arts to master on your journey to defeat Hannya, we’re certainly going to have our hands full overcoming the odds of these mysterious and deadly creatures. The enemy designs and aesthetics in particular look simultaneously interesting and horrifying, so fingers crossed we’ll get to experience some strong suspense alongside the flashy action.
Ghostwire: Tokyo is one of my personal most anticipated games of this year, so hopefully it’ll live up to the hype of its pre-release trailers when it’s set loose upon the world on March 25th for PS5 and PC.
Should you pre-order Ghostwire, you’ll also gain early access to it from the 22nd of March, accompanied with the Streetwear Outfit Pack, Shinobi Outfit, and Kunai Weapon. Snazzy.
Better start prepping to take on the Visitors, they’re arriving in just a couple of weeks!
