Pre-orders, a launch trailer, early access and a Brutal Edition. All the Ghostrunner 2 launch info you need.

First announced back in May, Ghostrunner 2 finally has its release date. In what’s shaping up to be a month chock-full of ridiculously high quality game releases, Ghostrunner 2 has joined the madness. October 26th will see us don the role of cybernetic ninja Jack, as we set out beyond the tower.

The new launch trailer demonstrates the battles Jack will face outside Dharma Tower, as well as motorcycle and vehicular combat. Which, by the way, is entirely new to the series. Holstering a revamped progression system, a new block & perfect mechanic and an increased focused on approachability, Ghostrunner 2 is whetting the appetite for violent, sword-swinging carnage.

Pre-orders for the cyberpunk, first-person action thriller are available now, with the game releasing October 26th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic and GOG. The base edition will cost just £34.99 while the Deluxe and Brutal Editions come with a host of extra goodies:

  • Base Edition (£34.99, Digital and Physical) – Digital and physical preorders get the Traditional Katana Pack including two sword skins and two hand skins
  • Deluxe Edition (£44.99, Digital) – Includes everything in the base edition, along with four additional hand skins, four extra sword skins, and a personalized hand hologram displaying their current username
  • Brutal Edition (£64.99, Digital) – Includes everything in the Deluxe Edition, along with 48-hours of early access starting Tuesday, Oct. 24. Brutal Edition also comes with the Season Pass (worth £14.99, featuring a new Game Mode and four Asset Packs), Animated Skin (Sword/Hand), and Motorcycle Skin

Two months to go and we’ll be embracing the full-throttle, high-octane action of Ghostrunner once again. Get excited.
