VR Skater was released this Friday (4th August 2023) for PC and PSVR2. The publishing arm over at Perpetual Entertainment is hosting a competition to celebrate the launch. Details from the press release are below:
WIN the chance to Skate with PRO’s
- We have a very exciting competition to win an all-expense paid, once-in-a-lifetime trip to skate with Pro Skaters in a prestigious skating location. Details will have an announcement in the near future.
- The competition will tie into to the games Leaderboards
- To be fair to everyone and give all players an equal chance, we will open the Leaderboards on September 4th, giving everyone a fair amount of time to practise their skills, in advance of the competition. Afterall, VR Skater is incredibly realistic, and to pull off some of the incredible tricks takes a lot of effort and time.
- During the next few weeks, we will communicate all the details of the competition on www.perpgames.com and across our social channels.
Early adopters of the game will also receive three DLC maps for free, taking the number from 6 to 9. Nice. These maps come free for anyone who purchases VR Skater before November 4th. After that time it will be a paid DLC pack, at a price that will have an announcement at a later date.
Expect a full review for VR Skater for PSVR2 coming in the near future from myself, as I undoubtedly bail and relive what it feels like to land primo.
