This week on The Finger Guns Podcast, Rossko and Miles get together to talk the week’s news (along with a review of My Chemical Romance at Anfield) which once again is just sad and not good. Who is being rubbish this week? Sony! They’ve confirmed that they will cease production of physical discs from January 2028, which has led to the end of an era discussion and gets a little emotional talking about the disappointment of the gaming industry of late. The one crumb of good news, bizarrely, comes from Xbox, where there are rumours that they’re planning to add software to Helix that would turn physical games into digital ones. Hooray?
In Game of the Week, Miles has been jumping into his backlog and spend the week checking out Valkyria Chronicles 4, whilst Rossko has not done that and instead spent his gaming time this week chasing down rare Sprites in Fortnite. Because of course he has.
