Artisan Studios Announce New JRPG Lost Hellden With Veteran Developers
Artisan Studios (developers of Astria Ascending in 2021) have announced their next project – and it’s another JRPG. Praise be to the JRPG gods! They’ve gone 3D but once again it’s full of jaw-dropping art reminiscent of Vanillaware and Netflix’s Arcane. And that’s no bad thing. Lost Hellden is an action JRPG featuring character design and illustration from Takeshi Oga (Gravity Rush 1 & 2) and a score from renowned composer Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Vanillaware’s Unicorn Overlord). Check out Lost Hellden’s first trailer below.
From the Press Release –
Lost Hellden brings players into a world of Era, where through its traditions, all citizens are forced to bond at birth with one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Citizens must live out their lives resisting their temptation or succumb and end up as monsters in a fate worse than death. The story follows twin brothers Cyphel and Leht, whose ill-fated bonding ceremony leads each one on a dangerous journey of self-discovery. With a blend of beautifully hand-painted 2D and 3D animation, a highly strategic action battle system, deep storytelling and characters, and advanced customization, Lost Hellden is set to launch on PC and console in 2025.
Artisan Studios is promising a demo later in 2024 and we are here for it.
