It Lives! Jurassic Park Survival Returns With Behind-The-Scenes Featurette
Revealed way back in December 2023, the surprise reveal of Jurassic Park Survival – a game we’re pretty sure every person on the planet wants to play – finally shares additional details in an extended behind-the-scenes featurette showcasing the making of the game
In the featurette developers – along with protagonist Dr. Maya Joshi’s actress Payal Mistry – talk about the legacy of the series, the important to do right by the audience and the rather insane level of detail they’re recreating in their take on the original Jurassic Park island, Isla Nublar, where you’re trapped and tasked to survive. Without, you know, being eaten by a T-Rex. That’s probably game over.
The chance to take fans back to the original Jurassic Park to explore firsthand is one that’s been years in the making. Developer and publisher Saber Interactive has worked meticulously with the team at NBCUniversal to recreate the many wonders and dangers of Isla Nublar down to the finest details. Fans can look forward to visiting Jurassic Park’s most iconic locations, as well as discovering new landmarks and surprises never seen before.
As Dr. Maya Joshi (played by actress Payal Mistry), an InGen scientist left behind on Isla Nublar, players will experience an intense mix of first-person stealth and action gameplay in thrilling encounters with the island’s unique dinosaurs, brought to life with special attention to capturing their authentic look, movement, and behavior from the film.
You can watch the featurette below. There’s no release date yet but it’s great to know this one is still on track. It’s one of our most anticipated games and due to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
