Square Enix shows off a new trailer and more hype ahead of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's launch next month. Details below:

Square Enix’s hotly anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has had another trailer drop ahead of the game’s launch. Titled ‘Destined For Rebirth’, the trailer shows off enemies new to the series as well as characters and locales reimagined from the original 1997 classic. You can watch the trailer here:

Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret and some other familiar yet unseen faces are back fighting against the ultimate enemy, Sephiroth. Whilst a new rendition of the battle theme swells, we catch glimpses of the Nibelheim Incident, the Junon ceremony as well as reimagined boss battles, including the boss from Terror of the Deep. Whilst Rebirth is described as a standalone adventure in the Final Fantasy VII remake project, it does follow the events of 2020’s Final Fantasy VII Remake. Events differ from the original, so if you haven’t played it, you’ve probably got just enough time to do so.
