Time-Loop RPG In Stars and Time Gets A Release Date

After the release of Start Again a couple of years back, Adrienne Bazir (inserdisc5) is launching the second and final game in the series with In Stars and Time – alongside Super Armor Studios who are behind the publishing. The monochromatic RPG sees you living the same few days while an evil king is slowly freezing time to a standstill. You play as Siffrin along with their band of adventurer friends who get so close to defeating the evil king until a tragedy causes them to relive it all over again.

Out Of The Loop

During each loop, Siffrin gains a new perspective, learning from their mistakes to potentially persevere through the loop and hope to break the cycle. You won’t be on a loop alone though as you’ll be exploring the dangers with Mirabelle, Isabeau, Odile, and Bonnie by your side. You’ll be encountering turn-based combat using Rock, Paper, Scissors to defeat dangerous foes. As well as that, you’ll be able to improve your party’s abilities as you equip memories as armour and pray to the Change God to improve everyone’s capabilities each loop.

The game’s art style looks like the perfect example of insertdisc5’s eclectic skills of being a cartoonist and 2D animator as In Stars and Time boasts an awesome art style along with a catchy chiptune soundtrack. You won’t be waiting long to defy destiny and break the loop as In Stars and Time releases 20th November 2023 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 & 4 and Nintendo Switch.

However, if you can’t wait to check out the full game, you’ll be able to play the prologue to the game right now with Start Again on PC via Steam.
