The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, RoboCop: Rogue City, Ad Infinitum & much more was shown off at NACON Connect 2023. Here's everything to know.

The first showcase of the year for French publisher NACON just wrapped and there was a whole bunch of games that we got a better look at. NACON showcased 16 games within the half-hour of its broadcast and here’s a breakdown of some of the games to be excited for.

Clash: Artifacts of Chaos

The first game to get hyped about won’t be a long wait at all as it’s out today! Expect a review very soon here at Finger Guns. Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is a melee focused soulslike with an extremely unique and standout art style. You play as Pseudo, a solitary warrior embarking on a quest across the lands of Zenozoik. The game is available today on PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum

Yes, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is still coming and today’s Connect showed off a story trailer. This is an original story from Daedalic spanning several regions of Middle-earth where you’ll be meeting well-known characters from the books of J.R.R. Tolkien. Gollum’s journey will be playable in 2023 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam where you can wishlist.

RoboCop: Rogue City

Developed by Teyon, the team behind the incredible Terminator: Resistance. You play as Alex Murphy – part man, part machine, all cop – in futuristic Detroit. This trailer shows off the gameplay that’ll be in the game and it looks glorious, with dialogue choices and first-person shooting. RoboCop: Rogue City will be available in September 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam which you can wishlist now.

Ad Infinitum

Ad Infinitum has been a passion project since 2014 when Lukas and Thomas from Hekate were still studying. The game follows a young man who’s seemingly trapped between worlds: his home in Berlin, and the trenches of the First World War, filled with strange creatures. The game is a first-person psychological horror that takes you into the mind of our tortured protagonist. Ad Infinitum is set for release in September 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

Ravenswatch

We also got a look at Passtech Games’ top-down co-op roguelite – Ravenswatch. Here we got a good overview of the basics of the world, co-op play and combat. Building on the success of Curse of the Dead Gods up to four players can play as heroes from the legendary fables in Ravenswatch. Working together to defeat the hordes of the Nightmare. Ravenswatch releases in early access on 6th April on Steam, with an official release on more platforms in 2024.

War Hospital

Developed by Polish studio Brave Lamb, War Hospital is a story-driven management survival game set during The Great War. We got a look at some new gameplay footage involving an injured soldier. In War Hospital you lead a field hospital executing difficult choices whilst managing the staff and resources. War Hospital has a planned release of 31st August 2023 on both consoles and PC via Steam.
