Fuse Games’ upcoming (and really rather very very good) Star Wars: Galactic Racer has been confirmed to be dropping on day one on Amazon’s gaming subscription service, Luna at no additional cost.
Amazon Prime members will be able to play the entire single player campaign for free when the game launches on the platform, allowing users to try out one of the best games of the year without the need for consoles (ergo, hook up a controller to your laptop/phone/tablet and you can play the campaign in full. Boom!)
Joining the likes of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Galactic Racer will land on the system today, alongside the full release on consoles and PC.
Jeff Gattis, Head of Gaming at Amazon;
“We’ve always believed Luna players deserve to be in the action from day one, and Star Wars: Galactic Racer makes that a reality for the first time,”

“Luna players can jump into the single-player campaign today without needing to own a console or wait for a lengthy download. And the best part: if they’re a Prime member, they already have it at no additional cost. It’s exactly the kind of experience we want to deliver on Luna, and we think players are going to love it.”
Set during the era of the New Republic, Star Wars: Galactic Racer allows you to get your pod racing on via the Galactic League, a high-stakes underground racing circuit where rival racers, unsanctioned courses and syndicates collide. In the shadow of the fall of the Empire, Darius Pax assembles an underground racing league with the hope of creating a new golden age of racing entertainment .
