Possibly some of you caught sight of that video doing the rounds last year. Footage of a hyperreal-looking FPS that used a body cam-style camera angle. It looked unbelievable leading to a lot of people wondering if it was indeed real.
Well, the good news is that the game does appear to be real, thanks to an official trailer which you can see below. And it still looks too incredible to be real:

Unrecorded is best described as a single-player FPS told from the perspective of a police officer’s body cam. Unrecord’s programmer has had to confirm that it’s “not a rail shooter or an FMV game”.
Unrecorded is being developed using Unreal Engine 5. We can’t wait to see this game in action when it hits Steam and hopefully consoles.
