Nier Replicant Drops New Gameplay Trailer at the Game Awards 2020

Why Nier Replicant isn’t trending after having such a cult smash hit with Automata in 2017 we will never know. Possibly it needs to drop the frankly ridiculous ver.1.22474487139… and just round it down to Ver 1.22 or drop it completely.

The Game Awards is really just an excuse for a lot of trailers to drop and this was no exception. Nier Replicant debuted a full-on gameplay and combat trailer, which you can check out below. The same 3D bullet-hell combat is back, but this is a remake of the original Japanese only Nier Replicant release, with new scenarios, new gameplay and new graphics, to bring it up to and surpass 2017’s sleeper hit.

Nier Replicant is due out on PS4 on April 23rd 2021.
