Everything You Need To Know About Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion Before September
There’s been quite the marketing campaign for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion since its initial reveal – half a dozen trailers and then IGN Live this weekend was just the latest. With all that information floating about, we thought it made sense to pull it all together into one article, where you can see all the trailers and get all the deets in one place. If any more trailers follow in the coming months to release, we’ll be sure to update here.
Trailers
Latest Story trailer – IGN Live
The new story trailer offers a look at some of the mysterious enemies, supporting characters, and stylish action-combat against monsters and Arsenals that players will experience through the game’s thrilling narrative. Additionally, Daemon X Machina series Producer Kenichiro Tsukuda discusses insights behind the move from large mechs to compact armored suits and their customizable nature, the unique asynchronous multiplayer elements in the game, and reveal more about the conflict between humans, Outers, and Immortals that drives the story.
IGN Live – Particle Weapons Trailer
The latest Gameplay Systems video delves into the functionality of the particle weapon Combat Support System, a preinstalled modification for Arsenal body armor providing Outers with powerful particle armaments. The three basic systems include Assault Shift (AS), which automatically targets and shoots enemies, Guard Shift (GS), offering a directional shield that nullifies attacks, and Wing Shift (WS), giving players the ability to fly at high speeds. Using these particle armaments consumes a limited resource, Femto, giving Outers a powerful temporary boost to be used strategically.
Customisation Trailer – May
This trailer showcases the highly customizable nature of the Arsenal, featuring five armor slots and six weapon slots filled with an array of ranged, melee, and explosive options to suit players’ various battle strategies. Each individual piece of equipment has its own unique stats, which combined with the number of weapon and armor types to choose from allows Outers, the altered humans who can don Arsenals, to customize their Arsenal to their combat style and always have gear to chase. Outers can acquire gear through multiple avenues, including purchasing it from in-game vendors, finding hidden boxes of equipment in the world, defeating enemies, and using data to craft gear at their home base. The more gear Outers collect, the more build options and strategies they’ll have at their disposal when picking loadouts for the battlefield.
