Lego 2k Drive has finally been revealed after many rumours and leaks, and promises a beautiful bricky world to race around. Check out the trailer below!

It’s great to see plenty of racing alongside car building with more than a nod to the likes of Forza Horizon and Mario Kart. You can expect vehicle customisation to be off the chart with more than 1000 Lego pieces to build and customise you car with.

Taking a leaf from Forza Horizon’s playbook you’ll have an open world to speed around and explore (or wreck should you so desire). The trailer shows you’ll be able to switch between vehicles at will as you can in The Crew or Sonic Racing Transformed.

The game features both singleplayer and multiplayer, co-op and competitive, and you’ll be able to play with up to six people online, or in split-screen co-op.

This will be the “first release in a multi-title partnership between 2K and the LEGO Group to develop AAA LEGO games” according to the press release.

Lego 2K Drive looks like a hell of a lot of fun and you won’t have long to wait as it drops for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X on May 19th.
