The Invincible: A Retro-Inspired Sci-Fi Adventure Gets A Date

The Invincible is the latest in deep narrative games. Based on the iconic hard sci-fi novel of the same name by Stanisław Lem; The Invincible is a first-person adventure that extracts the motifs from its source, as well as being set on the uninhabited planet of Regis III.

The Invincible has had a lot of coverage with previews, trailers and demo footage alike, but we now finally have a date on when we can all play it. 11bit Studios and Starward Industries are excited to announce that The Invincible releases on November 6th, 2023. And with the announcement comes a brand-new trailer showcasing more footage:

The Invincible describes itself as having an atompunk setting. You play as the sharp-tongued astrobiologist Yasna, sent on a mission to bring back his crew ‘dead or alive’. As expected, events aren’t as they seem and Regis III isn’t as uninhabited as originally thought. The game dives into philosophical territory as the intent of humankind is put into question during the complex narrative.

We are very excited to delve deep into this gorgeously inspired retro-futuristic sci-fi narrative. The Invincible will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
