Persona 5 Tactica P5T Drops Detailed Gameplay Trailer

The saga of our favourite Persona 5 characters continues in November with Persona 5 Tactica, and I for one can’t wait. Joker, Skull, Oracle and the rest are back (I love their reunions!) but this time we’re stuck to a grid-based tactics format battlefield and the graphics have had a Chibi up/down (?) grade.

From the Publishers (Atlus) – The Phantom Thieves find themselves in a bizarre realm where the citizens are living under tyrannical oppression. Surrounded by a military group named Legionnaires, they take cover until a mysterious revolutionary named Erina rescues them and offers an enticing deal in exchange for their help. What truth lies behind Erina and the deal she offers to the Phantom Thieves?

Today they’ve dropped a brand new trailer that showcases the cover-based tactics, and how the team can still do Persona-fan-favourite moves like All Out Attack – now called Triple Threat. Check it out!

Persona 5 Tactica also features five difficulty settings, from safe to merciless, where newcomers and strategy RPG veterans alike will be able to find a challenge level that best fits them. There’s also a DLC Challenge Pack teased with new game rules, dynamic stages, and two additional characters: Goro Akechi and Kasumi!

Persona 5 Tactica is available for pre-order now, and will launch worldwide on November 17, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Persona 5 Tactica will also be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

We are now at the point where there’s been two released spinoffs and sequels to P5, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, and Persona 5 Strikers, as well as the re-release Persona 5 Royal, and now we have not one but two more, with Persona 5 Tactica this year, and the still quite mysterious Persona 5: The Phantom X (coming to mobiles and possibly PC). If you need to catch up, you’ve got a lot of hours of content ahead of you.

Finally check out the announcement trailer for Persona 5 Tactica and you can read up on the game at the official website.
