Shenmue 3 Enhanced Edition Announced – More At Gamescom

The man himself Yu Suzuki – legendary creator of Shenmue, along others – has revealed Shenmue III Enhanced, an upgraded version of the game, with more to be shown off soon.

What we do now is that this new edition is coming to PC, PS5 and for the first time, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo, though which systems have yet to be confirmed.

Shenmue III Enhanced features improved graphics and performance, smoother load times, a 4K Texture Uplift, DLSS/FSR Support, increased density of NPC’s, a classic camera mode inspired by Shenmue I and II, system adjustments and gameplay tweaks including health restoration before fights and reduced money barriers. Menus are also more streamlined. Oof.

Owners of the original PS4 and PC versions will be offered and upgrade path, with details coming soon.
