Alone in the Dark: New Trailer Gives You A Peak Into Madness

THQ Nordic released a new trailer today for their upcoming survival horror Alone in the Dark. The trailer, titled Into The Madness, gives players a brief glimpse at some of the characters you’ll meet, in all of its unnerving settings. The trailer sees Writer & Game Director Mikael Hedberg and the two leading cast, David Harbour and Jodie Comer, talk about how Alone in the Dark’s dual narrative unfolds with each character players will face.

Players can expect to see different interactions play out whether they pick Edward or Emily during the game’s story. Moreover, the trailer shows off some of its ghastly locations across and beyond Decerto Manor as everyone descends into madness. You can check out the trailer here:

Not Much Longer Until Launch

The game follows Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood – played by the aforementioned actors. Emily has hired Edward to search for her missing uncle at a home for the mentally ill, Decerto Manor. Set in the 1920s in the American Deep South, developers – Pieces Interactive – are open about retaining the heritage of the setting.

There is also the promise of creating an unsettling and fresh take, on the Godfather of survival horror. As we approach the launch of Alone in the Dark, we here at Finger Guns can’t wait to delve deep into Decerto Manor to relive the classic ’90s survival horror through a more polished yet horrifying lens.

Alone in the Dark will release March 20th, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
