Werewolf the Apocalypse – Earthblood Cinematic Trailer
Werewolf The Apocalypse Earthblood is the upcoming game from developer Cyanide and publisher NACON. It’s based of the tabletop rpg game Werewolf: The Apocalypse (a.k.a WTA published by White Wolf Publishing) which is the Garou (werewolf) part of the World of Darkness (a.k.a WoD) fictional universe along side Vampire – The Masquerade and Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife. During IGN’s Summer of Gaming, the below cinematic trailer was released:
Metal: Hellsinger Announced
It’s typical. Rhythm First Person Shooters are like buses. You wait for one and 3 come along at once. The third and final game in this blossoming genre is Metal Hellsinger from The Outsiders. Featuring vocal performances from Matt Heafy, Mikael Stanne, Bjorn Strid, Alissa White-Gluz, and more, Metal Hellsinger is DOOM meets Crypt of the Necrodancer and it looks great.
Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX Is A Thing That Exists To Infuriate Us
Merge Games announced Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX with the above trailer during IGN’s Summer of Gaming Day 1. This is a remake of the first entry in the Alex Kidd franchise, which debuted in 1986 for the Sega Master system. Hopefully it’s easier so the 90% of the people who played this can see what lies beyond the first level. The remake gives you options to play the game either in its original presentation or with updated graphics and also includes a new boss rush mode.
Release platforms for Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX have not been announced but it is presumed to be Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
The Waylanders Releasing Much Sooner Than Expected
The Waylanders – a fantasy RPG inspired by all your favorite classics, and features party-based combat on a tactical scale – has an Early Access release date and it’s soon. Wishlist HERE.

Chivalry 2 Announced For Consoles Via Trailer
Chivalry 2 is a multiplayer first person slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles. Today Torn Banner Studio have announced that the game will be coming to consoles and will have cross-play enabled across PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and PC. Second Extinction Looks Dino-Tastic in New Footage
During IGN’s Summer of Gaming, 11 action packed minuets of game play for Second Extinction was backed by an interview which shared some interesting tidbits. Second Extinction Reclaim Earth will be released on Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Check it out above.

Demon Turf Announced With First Trailer
An exclusive reveal for IGN, Demon Turf is a 3D platformer with 2D elements coming to PC (via Epic Games Store and Steam), Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X from developer Fabraz. No mention of a PS5 version at this time.
Demon Turf sees Beebz, a young demon, on the path to conquering the Demo World by taking down every one of its warring gangs. Demon Turf doesn’t yet have a release date, but Fabraz estimates it will arrive between late 2020 and early 2021.
Observer System Redux Gameplay Demo Demonstrates Next-Gen Changes
We’re a big fan of Observer at Finger Guns. It was a stylish, thought provoking thriller that’s well worth a play through despite a few rough sections. When a next-gen remaster of the game – Observer System Redux – was announced by Bloober Team, we weren’t sure if it would be worth a double dip. The above game play demo shows that the changes for the PS5 and Xbox Series X version of the game will make it worth a second look.
Mortal Shell Beta Announced, Gameplay Revealed
Announced a few months ago, Mortal Shell is a souls-like aRPG from a team that love the Dark Souls games. During day 1 of IGN’s Summer of Gaming stream, the first game play was unveiled for Mortal Shell as well as the date for a week long beta – July 3rd. The Riftbreaker Gameplay Revealed
The Riftbreaker is descibed as sn “sction-RPG, an RTS-style base builder, and a tower defense game” all in one game. Here’s 5 minuets of game play for your eye holes.

Wales Interactive Announce FMV “Romantic Comedy” 5 Dates
Wales Interactive and Good Gate Media have announce Five Dates – a live-action, interactive romantic comedy for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
“The plot follows Vinny, a millennial from London, joins a dating app for the first time while living in lockdown. From a choice of five interested women, the player can control who Vinny video dates and how he interacts with their very different personalities. The interactive story unfolds in a multitude of different directions, each exploring whether compatibility, chemistry and connection are still possible in a world where physical touch is no longer an option.”
Featuring the acting talents Mandip Gill (Doctor Who), Georgia Hirst (Vikings), Marisa Abela (who is a lead in Lena Dunham’s upcoming BBC project Industry), Taheen Modak (co-lead in Maisie Williams’ new Sky show Two Weeks To Live), and Sinead Harnett (UK singer/influencer), Five Dates was conceptualized and developed during lockdown and is set for release in Q4 2020. Paul Raschid (who helmed The Complex) will steer filming remotely using iPhone’s and sound equipment which has been shipped to each cast member.
