Well here we go again, Ubisoft and their leaks. They just don’t know how to keep their games under wraps. Unless of course it’s a strategic drip feed campaign to get the excitement levels raised.
Anyways, on Finger Guns launch day, which was Monday, we reported that the latest rumblings regarding the next Assassin’s Creed adventure would involve both Greece and Egypt in the campaign and see a return of naval battles.
This has since been given more credibility thank to a supposed leaked screen from Assassin’s Creed Origins. (The rumored title of the new game, and not Assassin’s Creed: Empire as first thought)
The screen depicts the protagonist on a boat with bow and arrow and a shield on his back which could suggest that combat could have been given makeover. Also in the top left of the screen it says “Follow Shadya to Khenut’s villa.” which as everyone knows Khenut was a Queen of Egypt married to King Unas who lived during the time of the Fifth dynasty of Egypt.
Three different sources over at Eurogamer have confirmed that the image is indeed real. That being the case, I’m looking forward E3 where the latest Assassin’s Creed game will no doubt be showcased
