Marvel’s Avengers will upgrade free to PS5 / Xbox Series X

Square-Enix have revealed that Marvel’s Avengers will be coming to next-gen systems and players will receive a free upgrade to move their progress to PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Moving your save over to next-gen will allow you to carry straight on with your progress, with extra shininess and very fast loading times. PS5 players will also be able to play with PS4 players, and Xbox Series X players can play with Xbox One players. Huzzah.

No mention of cross-play. Yet.
