SEGA and those glorious folks at Two Point Studios have finally revealed that the terrific PC smash Two Point Hospital is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch this year. It would appear that there was a huge demand for a console version, and given how successful the PC iteration has been it’s no surprise to see the game make the jump. Our very own Rossko was rather beside himself at the news. Here’s a direct quote;
‘YES. YES. YES. YES. GET IN. YES. COME ON. THANK YOU TWO POINT STUDIOS. THANK YOU SEGA’.
Yes, he’s rather excited.
Since the release on PC last August, Two Point Hospital has seen a variety of new features including Interior Designer, character customisation and copy-paste room layouts to name but a few, and the press release has confirmed that these will all be making the jump to the console versions at launch. Not only that, the expansions ‘Bigfoot’ and ‘Pebberley Island’ will also be included. The console versions have been built from the ground up, designed specifically for controllers or on the go. Excellent news.
Mark Webley, Game Director at Two Point Studios;
“Bringing Two Point Hospital to console is something we always envisioned when starting up Two Point Studios in 2016. Our community’s number one question since launch has been: ‘when is Two Point Hospital coming to consoles?’. Well, it is happening and we are very excited.”
Well, this is just glorious news. There’s no fixed date just yet but rest assured Finger Guns will be shouting it from the rooftops the second it’s confirmed.
