It looks like we’re getting closer to finding out everything about Microsoft’s Xbox One S All Digital Edition.
Over at Windows Central, they’ve received word that the system is due for release in early May, with an announcement possibly coming as soon as the next Inside Xbox, or possibly even sooner.
It would appear the console will feature three pack-in games, namely Minecraft, Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 3. Rather than being already installed, these games will be included in the pack as redeemable codes. The box appears to show repeated warnings that the box absolutely cannot play discs, with a small ‘no-disc’ image at the bottom of the box alongside the multiple warnings near the top. Guys, this thing can’t play discs.
Still, the console appears to just be a disc-less version of the Xbox One S, which is what the system effectively is anyway. It may also be a little smaller but it’s difficult to tell from this image alone.
The console appears to only have a 1TB hard drive included, which is a bit odd considering there’s no other way to play your games on this thing other then to download them. Of course you can expand the storage with an external hard drive but a slightly more sizeable hard drive would have been welcome.
Still, as for price Windows Central are certain this will be the cheapest Xbox on the market, which is nice. There’s no guarantee just yet on how much this thing will cost.
