When we went to EGX this year, one game in the Leftfield Collection – games that often too indie to be considered for the indie-fuelled Rezzed zone – stood out amongst the others and we left rather excited about it. That game was Tick Tock: A Tale for Two. It was the first game we played at the event and it left a massive impression on us, embracing the cross-platform multiplayer style unlike any other game we saw there. It was hugely exciting, and we’re delighted it’s finally got itself a release date of March 7th on iOS and PC, which isn’t that far off.
The game is designed to be played on two devices (either iOS or PC. Or Switch or Android, both releases due after the initial launch) where yourself and your co-op pal are trapped in folk-lore worlds and have to work together to solve increasingly complex puzzles in order to escape, and neither player can see the full screen. Communication is key. Rossko was shouting at Sean a lot, it was very entertaining. For Rossko, anyway.
Look out for much more on Tick Tock very soon. In the meantime, check out the release date trailer below;
