Them lovely folks over at Infinite State Games, responsible for two of the best indies of the generation – Don’t Die Mr. Robot! and Rogue Ages – have today revealed Family Tree, a game designed ‘to make you happy’ coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch in Spring of this year.
Family Tree is a colourful slingshot platform puzzler, where Pedro the EVIL SKULL has turned all of Mr. Fruit’s friends into fruits and scattered them inside all of the trees in the forest. Rotten bastard. It’s up to you to save them all through a combination of platforming, pinball, golf and collecting fruit. Yeah, it’s pretty intense. There’s also a local multiplayer where you’re against three of your friends heading up the trees as quick as you can.
With artwork by Kate Evans and music by the ISG house band (who are gonna play my wedding, they just don’t know it yet), it looks as sweet and as wholesome as you would expect from ISG, who are making a real name for themselves in the indie space. It’s always exciting to see what they come out with next.
Look out for more on Family Tree very soon.
