Then good folks at Ground Shatter have today announced that their rather terrific (and criminally underplayed) vertical beat-em-up SkyScrappers is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 29th.
The Switch version is going to incorporate a brand new ‘Tate’ mode, which allows you to play the game with the screen vertically, something that the game has always been crying out for. It just makes sense, you know? The Switch version also brings along the fun single player campaign and local multiplayer for up to four players.
So what do you need to know about SkyScrappers? Well, aside from it being totally rad (yeah, we’re bringing ‘rad’ back), it’s all about a group of fighters to only ever fight on skyscrapers that are going to be demolished. They’ll fight each other skyward as the scraper comes tumbling down, jumping over debris and using any manner of way to get them to that top. And yes, you can fall.
The game has been developed for Switch by those folk over at Ant Workshop (Binaries).
Safe to say, we can’t wait. Look out for much more on SkyScrappers soon. If you can’t wait that long, head back through the archives and check out our PS4 SkyScrappers Let’s Play from our PSGamer days.
