Codemasters have today revealed that DiRT Rally 2.0 is an actual thing and it’ll be releasing on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on Tuesday 26th February next year.
The reveal comes after a subtle tease yesterday when all companies involved tweeting a cryptic ‘2.0’ from their Twitter accounts. Fans were quick to decipher the code but today it’s now been confirmed. Bosh (or…something).
Check out the first trailer;
DiRT Rally 2.0 will include six rally locations from across the globe featuring classic cars from the sport along with modern day iterations. DiRT Rally 2.0 also boasts being the official game of the FIA World Rallycross Championship and will feature cars from the 2018 season along with eight of the official WorldRX circuits at launch.
Pre-orders of the game will include access to the Porsche 911 RGT Rally Spec (I’m assuming if you’re reading this you know what that means) as a bonus vehicle. Naturally they’ll also be a deluxe edition which includes two seasons of post-launch content that include three locations and five vehicle unlocks (Ford Escort MkII, Lancia Stratos, Subaru Impreza 1995, AUDI Sport quattro S1 E2 and Ford Fiesta OMSE SuperCar Lite).
The deluxe edition will also include four days early access launching on the 22nd February (a nice quiet day, that one) along with in-game bonuses.
