Konami’s football franchise returns. How’s it looking?
Konami have today revealed the first look at PES 2019, the latest iteration in their annual football franchise.
They appear to be pushing ‘lifelike player movement’ with players such as Coutinho and Beckham having their play styles recreated in the game. There’s also a skill traits list which works towards ‘Magic Moments’, which is a big focus this year.
Along with that, Visible Fatigue has been added, impacting performance and behaviour, along with new shooting mechanics to take advantage of the new ball physics, player skills and shot styles. Brand new net physics and celebrations have also been added along with new crowd animations.
There’s also an update to the games myClub, featuring a brand new player card design system adding a new way to build your online squads.
PES 2019 will launch on Xbox One, PS4 and Steam on August 30th.
