Yeah, it’s happening. And it’s got Cross-Play, too.

Wisely dropping this news straight after that megaton of a Nintendo Direct, Epic Games have announced that Fortnite: Battle Royale has gone and got itself a mobile version and is coming to iOS.

Epic says this mobile version is the full-fat ‘100-player game you know from PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac. Same gameplay, same map same content, same weekly update, condensed into your iOS device.

Also, there’s talk of cross-play. Even with Sony!

In partnership with our friends at Sony, Fortnite Battle Royale will support Cross Play and Cross Progression between PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS and eventually Android. This means players across devices can squad up with friends and play together.

It’s coming to iOS on Monday (you can sign up at for the Invite Event on iOS.

To participate you’ll need an internet connection, iOS 11 and at least a iPhone 6S, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPad 2017 devices.

Android? It’s coming in the ‘next few months’. Huzzah.
