The new God of War reboot or God of War 4 to some of you was announced way back in 2016, with some real tasty gameplay videos and story trailers. At least, they looked tasty at the time but the extra year and a bit development time have improved the graphics significantly.

Take a look at the video below which is a side by side comparison of God of War from 2016/17 and the newly released story trailer. It’s pretty impressive. I mean it’s not huge changes making the game look like a Pixar film, but there are some subtle improvements that make a big difference.  It’s a refreshing change to have a game looking better than it’s announcement trailer. Ubisoft are the worst at this having shown the original Watch Dogs and The Division at E3 looking gobsmacking but then come release time, the graphics had been downgraded bit time. Top work Santa Monica!
