According to a retail listing, both Vanquish and Bayonetta are getting a re-release for Xbox One and PS4 in a double pack.

Get your salt ready. You’re going to need a pinch of it.

Bayonetta and Vanquish (both from SEGA) are coming to Xbox One and PS4 according to a retail listing on which was spotted by one eagle eyed NeoGaf user. It’s dated for November 2017 and is for sale for £33.25 without VAT (so likely to retailers).

The double pack comes with a description which sounds like it was either written in a hurry or by a non-native english speaker.

“Bayonetta and Vanquish have had a great success, and now comes in a joint edition which you can get both titles at once.”

…Right? The fact this is on a store front and obviously poorly written makes this feel like a placeholder without any specific SEGA provided promo materials. That being said, I’ve seen worse written descriptions turn out to be true so here’s hoping that this is actually true.

The listing comes with a gallery of images which look better than the PS3 original I played but I’m not entirely sure that’s not just a well chosen section of old shots. The box art looks like it was through together in Microsoft Paint too.

Take a look for yourself;

Vanquish recently featured in my list of 10 Bangers from the last-gen that still deserve a remaster so colour me chuffed if this is true. We’ve reached out to SEGA for a comment.

Would you be happy with a Vanquish and Bayonetta remaster for the PS4 and Xbox One? Anyone else hoping for a Switch version too? Head to the comments section and let me know what you think.
