E3 2017: The PlayStation Conference Bullet Points.

So that was the PlayStation E3 2017 conference and whilst it probably wasn’t the best one ever, it was certainly full of games, games and even more games. It didn’t blow up like 2015’s Holy Trinity, but there was a huge amount of excitement for new footage of games we’re already aware of. Still, Spidey! Here’s everything you need to know about the Sony conference (and the pre-show which was already full of announcements), in handy bullet point form!



  • Coco is playable in Crash Bandicoot N’Sane Trilogy!
  • Knack 2 launches on September 5th on PS4. $39.99
  • Play-Link – A category of games that are socially focused
  • Hidden Agenda is announced as part of the PlayLink initiative. Played on mobile phones, developed by Supermassive Games
  • That’s You – the second PlayLink game is all about how much you know about the other people you’re playing with.
  • That’s You is coming free to PlayStation Plus subscribers from July 4th
  • MatterFall launches August 15th
  • Everybody’s Golf launches August 29th. $39.99
  • Gran Turismo Sport launching in August
  • SUPER. HOT. SUPER. HOT. SUPER HOT. Sorry…Superhot is coming to PlayStation VR
  • SPARC coming PSVR. Looks to be a VR sports game
  • Tropico 6 coming to PS4 in 2018
  • Holy crap. Undertale is coming to PS4! Physical and digital editions available, including collectors editions. ALSO coming to Vita
  • New trailer for Ni No Kuni 2 was revealed. Oh, it looks so damn pretty. November 10th 2017
  • PlayStation Experience coming December 9th
  • Uncharted The Lost Legacy kicked off the main show.
  • Horizon Zero Dawn The Frozen Wilds releasing in 2017
  • Days Gone is looking bleak as all hell. Actual actors are hanging from the roof  of the stage as zombie bait…
  • MONSTER HUNTER just got a big reveal on PS4. This is..kind of a big deal. Coming early 2018
  • Shadow of the Colossus is getting a remake. Holy crap. Sony are knocking it out of the park right now.
  • Marvel vs Capcom got itself a new trailer. Download the Story Demo now!
  • Call of Duty WWII got a new trailer. Looks Call of Duty-y. Multiplayer revealed
  • A new VR game called Star Child got revealed
  • Another new VR game, The Inpatient, which seems to take place in some kind of asylum, was also revealed
  • Monster of the Deep, the FFXV VR game is coming September 2017
  • VR War game Bravo Team revealed
  • Moss – a colourful adventure VR game revealed.
  • GOD OF WAR. HERE COMES GOD OF WAR. Coming Early 2018….ignore that leak from earlier today.
  • DETROIT BECOME HUMAN is up next and still looks spectacular, but still no date :(.
  • DESTINY 2 returned next. Crikey it’s looking bleak, the trailer had a focus on the PS4 exclusive content…naturally.
  • …..the conference ended with Spider-Man – and it’s looking beautiful. Coming in 2018.
